Software Engineer Interview Experience - Austin, Texas

August 1, 2020
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview consisted of three calls.

The first was a coding session with an engineer.

The next two calls were both non-technical, with two different managers from two different teams.

The worst part of the interview experience was the zero feedback or updates from the recruiters, even after emailing. In the end, it turned out to be three hours of wasted time.

A colleague of mine had a similar experience around the same timeframe.

Just a note to experienced candidates planning to interview: Don't waste your time unless you don't have any other interview calls. There are much better options out there to pursue, especially with remote work now.
