Pros: People care about the mission and enjoy working with each other.
A very collaborative culture; people are very helpful.
Cons: Lots of politics. Sometimes the tech stack can be overly complicated for seemingly no reason. Some tech is a bit out of date, but we are working to modernize it.

Pros: Benefits, work-life balance. The product was successful a long time ago and still generates a great deal of revenue.
Cons: Lack of engineering process and accountability. Many engineers are siloed.
You have to find leads on what to work on in many departments, versus having clearly defined work. Not a very serious culture.
