There is an online assessment round via Karat, followed by four rounds of interview (four hours total) covering System Design, Code Walkthrough, and two coding rounds. They emphasize collaboration heavily, which made the whole interview process fun with good interviewers with whom you could bounce ideas.
The experience was good for my System Design and Code Walkthrough. I love the rigor and the amount of thought they put into their interviewing process.
However, for one of my coding rounds, I was unable to understand and code the problem. What really annoyed me was that the interviewers decided to switch off their mics halfway through the interview and chose not to prompt further. Furthermore, it was live on HackerRank, so I could see that they were not even on the HackerRank page itself.
I may be bad at this question, but honestly, you do not have to behave like that.
It's quite a pity that the whole process was fun and promising until the interviewers for the final round behaved badly.
Overall, I would say Indeed's internship selection process is almost FAANG-like in standard for a company in Singapore, and it is definitely worth a try. Nonetheless, perhaps EQ training is required for some of their employees.
