Pros: Mission-driven; we help people get jobs! Great work-life balance.

Cons: Erratic senior leadership is causing churn at lower levels. Org-wide priorities are started without proper vetting, then abandoned. There's a seeming constant parade of re-orgs. Pay is not bad, but FAANG is far better. There's extremely limited growth potential once you're a staff engineer or equivalent.

Pros: It was awesome to be working there for the past few years. I learned a lot, contributed a lot, and had a lot of impact on people I mentored and folks from other teams. Likewise, I learned a lot from a lot of folks there. It was a very nice place to be in, to grow professionally, and to do professional work. My team was awesome, and I had the opportunity to go out of my comfort zone and grow my skills in many other areas to support my team. Everyone respected everyone there, and I was fortunate to have never come across anyone who was disrespectful and mean.

Cons: Well, a bad economy forced Indeed to make a choice to cut off a lot of people (me included). I wish I had been given the choice to stay with reduced pay because I really identified myself as a proud Indeedian, but I was just let go, unfortunately.

Pros: All is good; work-life balance.

Cons: No cons as of now.
