Automation Engineer (Infrastructure) Interview Experience

Process

I was lucky enough to get a hiring manager who wasn't following the lengthy interview process Intel is known for (2-3 rounds with 3-4 peers all interviewing you at a time).

We had about a 30-minute phone interview where I discussed my current role and what I did. I was already working as a contractor there and was referred internally.

He told me about the position and what I would be doing.

Questions

You can expect the usual technical questions as they relate to the position you are applying for, including basic networking and Windows questions.

Consider how you would approach an issue pertaining to these technologies.

The "big ones" are the behavioral questions. These are all scripted and pretty much a requirement from Intel. I'm certain they are the typical behavioral questions that most large corporations will ask. A general Google search will likely yield similar results.
