It was structural. After initial job description versus resume profile matching discussions, the first round was a phone screening, followed by an in-person interview. There were four technical panels, each 45 minutes long, and a discussion with the manager, and finally, HR.

Pros: Good company, which gives you the opportunity to try new things if you seek it. World-class engineering talent. A large variety of things to do.
Cons: Large companies move slowly sometimes. They will box in employees that do not actively seek change. As a large company, not all groups operate the same. Your experience can change dramatically from one to another. Stress is always a factor.

Good infrastructure and facilities, like transport and food.
Access to resources for learning.
Cons: Some managers act like puppets who act on the commands of higher management in the US. They don't have a long-term vision for innovation and a high-performing team. They simply want to show numbers of cost savings to please their bosses.
