Great place to work
DevOps Engineer • Former Employee
San Jose, California, United States
March 8, 2021
Pros: Benefits, work-life balance, a great work environment, and lots of ways to learn.
Cons: You'll find really old tech, legacy apps, and there's nothing they want to do to change them or use new things. They see everything as a risk, and they prefer to keep old things working than shifting to new/updated tech/apps.
You'll see the atmosphere is to keep things running like they were 10 years ago. I'm sad about that because you can see why, because of that, the rivals are already ahead of Intel.

The worst company that you can work for
Engineering Manager • Current Employee
San Jose, California, United States
August 17, 2023
Pros: Base salary is good, not great (just market average). People are really smart, and people with many years in the company have a good culture. Medical insurance.
Cons: No work-life balance.
No career growth, especially in Costa Rica.
No benefits, no bonus, no recognition programs, and no team buildings.
The culture of the leaders is very bad. There are a lot of accidents, people are not following the rules, and not behaving as they should. None of the Costa Rica leadership team cares.
There is no people caring; it's truly management by fear.
The culture of competition is so toxic, and it's driving the wrong behaviors and business decisions.
