Process

I had one technical interview mixed with an HR session. I applied for a Software Engineer position.

The interview involved:

  • One algorithm question (how to sort an array, algorithm of my choice)
  • One mathematical question to assess problem-solving skills.

There were two interviewers, and I believe both were engineers. They were very polite, although one seemed annoyed when I stated I didn't know how to find an angle in a triangle. He began kicking a ball around the room, which made me feel very uncomfortable and more nervous.

Questions

You have billiard pool. You know the position of the black ball, the white ball, and the hole. Make a program to calculate where on the edge the white ball must hit so the black ball goes into the hole.
