I had:
- A non-technical phone screen
- A technical phone screen (about an hour)
- An all-day interview on-site
In retrospect, I didn't think the process was that hard, though it was stressful at the time.

Pros: Great, smart engineers that tackle difficult problems!
Cons: Worst management ever! Intel has a rich culture of team building, based on years of growth from the PC business. Even though the growth is no longer there, teams are built (and destroyed) routinely, based on management politics.
