Process

The process was not at all organized, and there was no process for informing or updating candidates. Consideration should be given to the time candidates devote, which was unprofessional and not expected from a large organization.

A total of four rounds:

  1. Discussion regarding the project, followed by questions on networking, OS, and data structures. Answers needed to be elaborate.
  2. Coding: bitwise operations, trees, and arrays, which were fine.

After two rounds, it took a month to receive a response and schedule another two rounds.

  1. In-depth discussion on Linux calls, the networking stack, processes, memory cache, and other Linux-related topics.
  2. A review of the project, programming, and Linux.

Questions

Check for bits in a number. Create a macro and general handling using bitwise operators.
