Great Sabbatical, Boring Code
Software Engineer • Former Employee
August 18, 2015
Pros: Good benefits and an 8-week paid sabbatical for every 7 years working.
Cons: Not a lot of exciting opportunities if you just want to be a software developer and write code.
Too many reorganizations for no real good reason – had three different managers within a short time.
Mid-year and annual performance reviews are bogus, a waste of time, and not transparent. It's not how well you perform, but who you know in the company.
