During the onsite interview, I was introduced to a conference room. People from different sites (local and other locations) called in to interview.

All questions are addressed to technical personnel. They also ask you something they want to know.

Pros: A place where fishing happens on the talented contract employees.
Cons: They aim to be "One Intel Policy," but in reality, contract employees are treated badly.
If you are a strong character, they may not like you and terminate your contract.
I see the Intel employees like good old agents who bring in the contractors, get the work done, and then discard them. They are egoistic and feel like the owners of Intel.

Pros: Many perks and benefits. Although salary and increment are not fantastic, adding up the many bonuses and stock you receive throughout the year, your annual income is actually at par with your peers in other companies who are earning fat pay.
Cons: There is a yearly managerial survey that is optional and supposedly confidential. Your manager will ask you to complete it.
But such bottom-up feedback about managers can get you in trouble, especially in Asian sites like Malaysia. Typical Asian mentality managers are probably not as open to improvement feedback as their counterparts in the US. When my manager managed to guess who gave what results and feedback, she took it very personally.
