Pros

Some level of freedom to set direction for your career.

Many opportunities in such a large corporation.

A worldwide company allows one to experience different cultures and visit many places around the world.

I do think the current management is trying to make life better for the employees.

Cons

A huge corporation that can get very bogged down in bureaucracy. The performance management program does not foster good teamwork; instead, it becomes each person for themselves.

Advice to Management

Be more open and honest.

Visit with the individual contributors in an informal way occasionally.

The official forums are okay, but it would be nice to sit down and chat with some of these folks.
