Pros

Intel allows more than enough paid time off. You can choose between various shifts and various hours. Managers do not get upset when vacations are taken. It is a relaxed environment, and people are easy to get along with.

Cons

The process for getting a raise is not based on performance and is rarely fair. The pay is just below market average. Everyone is expected to perform every task the same instead of drawing on people's talents and allowing them to perform the tasks they are best at.

Advice to Management

Educate yourselves on the details of manufacturing before making decisions at the manufacturing level. I see millions of dollars wasted on zero ROI changes to manufacturing.
