Pros

Reasonable pay and some small benefits, which have been gradually cut.

Cons

A difficult environment. Extremely competitive. People trying to find fault in everyone. Since a lot of people in this area have their self-worth linked to work, you will have to deal with a lot of narcissistic colleagues. It is difficult to grow in the company, there is no room for creativity, and it is not a challenging environment. They are not interested in good ideas. Anything you want to do that deviates the slightest from the way they have been doing things for centuries will never be welcomed. There is zero room for innovation, and innovative thinking is not welcomed here.

Advice to Management

No suggestion. Managing would have to fire and rehire all new people again. There's no way one can fix the mess it is now with the current politics of the company. No room for improvement. They like the way it is, and no one is willing to change.
