Pros

The company had a lot of good benefits with total compensation. It was a good place to work for and has a lot to offer if you want to try different things (jobs or projects) while staying with the same company. They offer a lot of flexibility to employees for getting their work done, whether it is flexible work hours, being able to occasionally work from home, or time off.

Cons

The company is a meritocracy, so it has a "what have you done for me lately" mentality. If you are not careful, you can get caught off guard by it. It is possible to have a work/life balance, but depending on the job, it may require a lot of overtime (especially true for a salary worker).

Advice to Management

We need to be more transparent with employees and give lower-level managers more of a say on who should be let go.
