Good work-life balance. Good compensation package. Challenging and engaging projects. Smart people to work with. Three weeks of vacation, then four weeks after 10 years. Sad to say, NPD people, those generally considered as jerks, are the ones getting promoted the fastest. You have to be a jerk to get promoted.
The trick is to be nice to individuals, let them know that you are only putting on an acting face in front of management. Be a jerk to them and unnecessarily put them down to expose their flaws and show how you are superior in front of management.
