Pros

A place where you can propose whatever you want, as long as opportunity is just beside you. Job security will be there as long as you are agile enough to accept any challenge until the end of your life.

Cons

Intel used numbers to cut their talent without really knowing what talent was needed for their business. A person who always made use of others' results and gained more exposure would be the one to climb faster than those who were really good in productivity and high technical skills.

This will make the company lose a lot of talent where they really have no idea what will happen for its future.

Advice to Management

Please hire someone who really appreciates talent more than someone who only knows how to 'clean the boss's shoes.' Please value software engineers because software will be more important compared to "talking" engineers.
