Pros

Relatively good, market-matching benefits. You can obtain good work-life balance with the correct manager choices, though that could change with the recent restructuring. There are many opportunities within the company, and you can utilize company resources to develop yourself professionally with the right manager and position.

Cons

Low general pay unless you start experienced.

Not quality focused in the assembly areas. The fabs and assembly areas are too disconnected with the way they are run, making synergy impossible.

Company is too involved in political correctness marketing and needs to refocus on the business it is in.

Headcount is rarely at a sustainable level, so expect to do multiple other people's jobs if you plan to get anything done.

Advice to Management

Develop a focus on quality; that will help resolve most of the issues within the company, especially in the assembly areas. Focus on BUSINESS, not the current PC trends.
