I was contacted by a recruiter for an entry-level Front End position, which in turn turned out to be a Senior level role. I was emailed first, followed by a brief 15-minute phone call with the recruiter. Despite asking the recruiter for the job description, it was not shared. I was then scheduled for a technical phone screen (1 hour long), which involved a basic JavaScript question to flatten nested lists. Almost two weeks later, I received a response from the recruiter to share my availability for an onsite visit. I did, and eventually was asked for another set of dates after another week's time. Finally, I was scheduled for an onsite interview, but at that point, there were still no answers regarding the job description or requirements.

Upon receiving the email for the onsite interview and seeing the agenda, I asked a few questions back to the recruiter, but received no response. The day arrived, and I was onsite. A senior engineer walked me through a React / Redux / Express app from his Git repository and asked me to complete the TODOs. One part of which was to complete the setup of the React routing for the application. They called it a solo working session, but it was not entirely so. Following that was a demo to showcase what had been completed to a group of four. Most of the questions were API-related, with nothing on data structures or algorithms.
