Pros

Excellent salary, great campus, and benefits. Plenty of experience to gain from working here.

Cons

The company is desperately pushing for AI in order to hire fewer engineers, but is not sure how to implement it yet. Plus, there's the feeling of competing against coworkers due to layoffs every year. There are also no clear performance metrics outlined when onboarding. The quality of work from senior-level engineers is questionable for being a top tech company. Most have probably played the politics game well enough to remain on a team long-term. At the moment, H1B visas and cutting costs appear to be the company's priority over quality, as of when I left. This is foreshadowing endless tech debt for full-time employees in the future.

Advice to Management

Not much advice to give to management, since the managers I reported to didn't have much control.
