Pros

Great culture, a lot of smart people around, and relatively better benefits and perks than many similar companies in the valley. The 401k plan is really good. You get to meet some really nice people, and this company spends a lot of money. Nice offices. Good stock options (RSUs and ESPP).

Cons

It is political.

If you are unlucky and in one of such teams (which I was), then it's an uphill battle.

Tends to be too laid-back culture at times.

Too much favoritism in some teams.

Your ideas are not really considered unless you have a good relationship with the management.

Advice to Management

Few people in leadership are truly great leaders.

There are a lot of really hard-working and smart people as individual contributors.

Recognize them instead of always praising the leaders.
