Pros

Good Intuit Benefits

  • Flexible hours
  • Work from home as needed
Cons

If your resume doesn't have SAP, Micron, or Extended Systems on it, then you're not part of the old boys club.

Your ideas will not be listened to.

You will be given little autonomy on the direction of the product or choice of technologies, even if your decisions are backed up by reasonable arguments.

Senior engineering leadership are digging in their heels and making the Intuit transition more painful than it needs to be.

Negotiate your salary hard upfront.

Once you are hired, it is difficult to get a decent raise.

Management also doesn't seem to care about retention or equal pay for good employees.
