Decently competitive environment in terms of skills. Decent pay and a great range of benefits. Kind people all throughout. Many bright and hard-working folks.
Leadership is disheveled and constantly changing direction. I'm not convinced that they attract the tip-top talent of our industry, meaning I frequently wonder if other major companies have more talent. It's not sexy.
Don't try to be Amazon. Try to be Netflix or another large, profitable company that is more known for its talent acquisition, PD-led culture, and happy employees. I haven't been impressed thus far by the new executives we've poached from Amazon.
Pretty standard interview process for a large organization. Went through one virtual onsite before the final 5.5-hour interview. Questions were all doable. Had some LeetCode medium and system design questions/scenarios. Overall experience was good
The process involves: * 1 hour for project implementation (depends on frontend/backend) for a situation. * 1 hour for team discussion on how to make it better. * 2 interviews, each 1 hour long.
I was ghosted after an onsite interview for a Senior iOS role in Mountain View. Even after several follow-ups, I received no reply from the coordinator. They could have saved my time. At least they could have said no, rather than keeping me waiting
