Great team, poor communication with HR

Pros

Loved the independence I got during my internship to explore and choose the project that I wanted to work on.

Cons

Communication with my recruiter was horrible. She gave me one day to sign the offer letter, threatening to postpone my start date, which would give me two weeks less than the original offer. At the end of my internship, my recruiter told my manager to offer me a full-time job. A week after that, she contacted me to let me know that they couldn't offer the job just yet (without letting my manager or the rest of the team know!). When asked about a deadline for when I could find out about my job status, she said it might take two, three, four months, or more (fully knowing that I graduated four months later).

Advice to Management

Your recruiters represent the company. Having them work in this manner will not go unnoticed, both within and outside the company.
