I had a positive experience interviewing with the team, and I could see they are both smart and genuinely committed to continuously improving their hiring process. They’ve clearly put effort into refining things based on feedback: for example, they've added an additional technical screening after the HR screening to dive deeper into role-relevant skills. I also appreciated that they took the time to provide high-level feedback on my behavioral interview, which isn’t something every company takes the time to do.

The take-home technical assessment was well-designed and directly related to the role. It provided a solid opportunity to demonstrate my skills in a way that felt practical and relevant.

As for the behavioral round, it was constructive but could benefit from more of a two-way discussion. I think behavioral interviews are most effective when they go beyond surface-level responses and allow the candidate to share the “why” behind their actions and decisions. This adds more depth and insight into how someone thinks and tackles challenges, which is essential for a well-rounded assessment.

During my interview, it felt as if we moved quickly from one question to the next, which made it a bit one-sided, like a checklist, rather than a deeper dive into core experiences. Setting a more collaborative tone in the behavioral round, where interviewers actively seek clarification or ask follow-up questions, would give an even clearer picture of how candidates might function in a team.

Overall, I found the experience very positive, and I hope these suggestions are helpful as the team continues to refine the process. Keep up the great work on such an impactful project!
