I applied online. The process took 4 weeks.

Easily one of the worst interviews I went through in my entire career. The process was the same as already described in another review here so I won't be covering that again.

I'd like to start off by saying that there wasn't a single step in the process where I felt like the interviewer cared about me or the interview in general. Everything was really cold and was being treated as the nth brainless meeting of the day, just reading phrases from a script without putting any real emotions in it.

However, I found most disrespectful the massive amount of time it took just to get through 3 steps of the whole process: I don't see any valid reasons why the initial screen, the hiring manager screen, and a take-home assignment should take more than a month to go through, just to get a generic rejection mail without any possibility to request feedback.

But it's not even the duration as a whole that shows disrespect for candidates' time: after each step of the process I had to personally reach out to the recruiter, after not hearing for 1+ week, asking for updates regarding the process, despite their promises to get back to me by a given date, promises that were not even once kept.

Now, I can understand that being a small company the resources must be limited, and I can also understand that once in a while work can get in the way and make you miss a deadline that you had committed to. But when this happens three times in a row, you should really start questioning whether something needs to be changed, because if the company works in the same way as recruiting does, then it's safe to say that I have dodged a bullet here.
