It was weekend recruitment. The process involved a written test followed by a one-on-one interview with shortlisted candidates.
A senior person asked about my project experience and technical skills.
This was followed by one more interview.
One of the interviewers didn't have much experience in automation testing. They asked basic questions and expected answers to align with their own knowledge.
Next was a discussion with the scrum master and hiring manager.
When the interviews were done, they said they would schedule a global interview.
The consultancy that contacted me confirmed a global round would be scheduled within a week, but it never happened.
It's kind of a joke. If they are not serious about hiring a candidate, why waste candidates' time?
Very unprofessional behavior.
