Process

Day-long hiring and interview process.

The process started with a written test with tick-mark questions on paper. This delayed the whole process.

Results were announced after an hour. Interviewers weren't many. Pressure was on them to finish screening of candidates. There was confusion at times.

Rounds were five:

  • Written round
  • Technical round (divided into Oracle and ETL/Datastage)
  • Technical cum managerial round
  • HR round

Questions

Divide a word and print the letters as rows.

Comparison between dates and date functions.

ETL questions, focusing on scenarios. Unix questions, focusing on grep, awk, and sed.
