I was interviewed virtually by the VP and an Associate SE for a Python-UI role.
The interview started with some behavioral questions first and some questions on my CV.
For the technical second part, I was asked a bunch of fact-based Python questions, but no coding assignment at all. I found it odd because for the questions they asked, I could simply look them up, so this did not at all align with my expectations.
The interviewers also spoke English with a heavy accent. I do understand the role required Mandarin fluency, but I could hardly understand their English most of the time.
Asked about assignment, shallow copy, and deep copy as applied in Python.
Asked about how sessions and cookies work in web applications overall.
Asked about some Python-based OOP questions.
