Software Engineer Interview Experience - United States

Process

I was contacted by a recruiter, who introduced me to another of their colleagues. This person seemed very skeptical and biased (gender, age, and race) from the start. It was a complete waste of time. They asked me a bunch of unnecessary questions instead of explaining the job roles. They showed no interest in my work experience while I was explaining.

It was more of an interrogation than a conversation. It seemed to me they were not interested in filling the positions.

Advice to management: Please stay by the values that you post in your job description and make sure your recruiting team is trained for that.

Questions

Just an introductory call, without much introduction about the job roles or expectations.
