Lots of ways to get involved, good benefits, number of PTO days, and a good amount of opportunity to learn.
Internal mobility is encouraged, but there's tons of bureaucracy during the actual job transfer. If you take a job that is posted as a salary grade above what you currently are, HR won't allow you to take the promotion or raise. It saves the company money because they could pay you less even though the skills and job requirements are worth more money (and they would have paid an external candidate more money).
If someone applies to a role that is posted at a higher pay grade than their current position, and they end up getting hired for that role, they should be able to get the title and promotion/$ raise with it. Why would a person want to stay in a role at Chase getting paid less than what they can make doing the same exact thing at other companies?
They should also look into a better way to evaluate the performance of employees who have recently taken internal mobility, so that they receive a fair raise or promotion during Annual Review time. Shouldn't their raise be based off the value they have provided during that whole year (no matter what role they were in)?
Employees who take internal mobility because they are curious and have the desire to learn deserve promotions just as much as someone who stays in the same role throughout their entire time in the company.
