Not challenging. Contractor access to systems is heavily restricted. Not allowed to contribute beyond a narrow assigned role. No remote work option. No option to convert to full time. Management largely ignored contractors. Communication was poor. No positive feedback. Too much downtime.
Treat contractors like valued resources rather than necessary evils.
