Pros
  • Good company reputation
  • Strong balance sheet
  • I actually think the leadership at the top meant well
Cons
  • Undisciplined mid-level managers engage in office affairs, bully, and belittle others.
  • Software Engineers are paid under the industry average.
  • Frequent management changes impede promotions.
  • Workers with a common culture often have conversations in their native tongues (Spanish, Russian, Indian) in office common areas, unprofessionally shouting over shoulders in a tech organization.
  • TAP graduates receive preferential treatment over permanent employees while in the program; that is about how long it lasts.
  • Traders shout and curse all the time; I guess that is nothing new.
Advice to Management

• Hotline to report misconduct, including sexual harassment, verbal abuse, and bullying. • Perm employees make up your talent base. If you treat TAP employees like babies, please show respect to perm employees with a genuine "hello" in the hallway. • Unproductive meetings waste tons of time with disjointed teams. • Figure out a better pay model to keep up with competition.
