Pros

It just looks good on your resume to have a big company.

Cons

Low compensation, and even during promotions, raises are low. They want senior-level production at entry-level pay. Management is terrible. Work-life balance is poor. Software engineers don't learn anything. They force you to copy-paste code so that you move faster. Often, I'm using code in my project that I don't even understand. After seeing Chase's codebase and programming standards, I've transferred my money out of the bank. That's how bad it is.

Advice to Management

Fire managers who don't give their engineers time to learn and understand technical concepts.
