WLB is pretty good for most tech teams. PTO is rather generous (you accrue up to 15 PTO days and 10 sick days a year).
Pay is pretty subpar for a large "tech-forward" company.
Most of the senior engineers and managers have very poor technical skills and aptitude, making it hard to find good tech mentors.
Most teams are just maintaining legacy products and/or editing config files (i.e., not doing "real" development).
Overall, not the best place to learn programming skills.
Sent me an online interview, aced it and got no callback. It was not a great process, or they were not who I was looking for, I guess. I don't know what else to say.
1. Online assessment with Easy/Medium LeetCode. 2. In-depth Python knowledge, OS, and Data Engineering theory (two people from the team grilled me about it). 3. Interpersonal skills: Explain a time where you showed leadership and how it turned out.
I had three interview rounds. The first two rounds were positive experiences, but the third was the worst. For the third round, both the technical interviewer and the hiring manager were almost 30 minutes late. There was no email, phone call, or not
