Great experience working for JPMorgan Chase. The pay/sign-on bonus is really great compared to other companies.
Interns are grouped with 3 other TAP interns and are put on a larger team that they are working with for the summer.
I was given a challenging coding project that also gave me the opportunity to try different roles. Everyone is willing to meet and help the interns. It was not hard to get 30 minutes on some of the upper-level executives' calendars just to ask them about their jobs/advice!
You don't know what your role is until late April/early May. Housing is on your own, and they do not really help you find housing.
Provide suggestions for housing for interns, especially those out of state.
Pre-onboarding communication could be enhanced as well.
Overall, great experience!
First, a take-home coding question with a time limit. LeetCode easy, I think. After that, a three-hour session. The people I spoke to were not really talking with me and only asking minimal questions, expecting me to fill up the rest of the time talk
It started with an online coding test of two questions, based upon which 30 students were shortlisted for personal interviews. There were two 1:1 PIs and an HR round, following which final results were announced.
It was scheduled online. Two interviewers asked the questions, and it was around 30 minutes. First, the question was more from core Java and related coding. If any topic I replied to, in-depth questions were asked.
