A take-home test

HR - Salary negotiation, etc.

I would say the interviewers are very friendly and make you very comfortable during the interviews. The take-home test is critical, as the main technical evaluation happens there. Regarding salary and benefits, they were generous. It's just that I had an extreme offer from another company, so I had to decline this. King is a dream company to work for due to its culture, but I wish I come to King in the future.

Colleagues are great and competent, with world-class expertise in optimizing live games. Incredible growth in spite of a difficult market. Super flexible, with great offices.

Cons: We don't ship new games, but in the current market, that is difficult.

All the company's employees meet once a year for 2 days to catch up, share goals, have fun and enjoy the final party. It usually happens in Barcelona, but it might be in other locations like London, Stockholm, Berlin, and others. Awesome offices. Secondment opportunities are sometimes offered. Managers are really involved in people's happiness.

Cons: King is not an engineering company like Facebook, Google, or Twitter. So, do not expect to build open-source libraries or systems, except if you are part of some special teams. King's tech stack is totally fit to the company's necessities. So, do not expect to use ultimate tech. Not everyone is eligible to innovate on the tech stack. Lately, the staff has been reduced without replacements.
