I received a message from an external recruiter. After speaking with him, he sent my CV to the company.
I then received an email with an interview invitation, though it contained the wrong position name.
The interview was a one-hour video chat with two developers. It was quite confusing; they apparently didn't really know what they were doing there and seemed unsure of what to ask, leading to numerous awkward silences.
After a four-week wait (which was expected, as they mentioned they were going on holiday), I received an automatic email stating, "As we discussed previously, we won't move forward with the process. Please give us feedback."
The problem is, there was no other contact whatsoever, so receiving this automatic email was a complete surprise.
I would not recommend this company unless they prepare better for interviews.
Just basic questions about previous job experiences and specific features I'd be proud of.
