There were a lot of creative and fun people working at the bottom ranks of the company. Designers, developers, and artistic people in general. The skills varied from high to a bit too low, but the social environment was almost always good.
When Candy Crush became a huge hit on mobile, the company was flooded with middle management people who wanted to get in on the success, and bureaucratic processes became commonplace. Political skills became the most important skill that you could have if you didn't just want to be a tool for middle management to use.
