It was a personable experience with a very engineering-focused company. A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and then by phone to learn about my experience. Once they decided that my experience was a good match, I was asked to come into the office to do a collaborative coding exercise with two of their engineers.
I was tasked with refactoring and debugging a program. After passing that round, I was given a small full-stack project to complete at home, which took me around 10 to 12 hours.
Then, I was invited back for a final round interview, which consisted of a coding challenge, discussions with several engineers, a product manager, and their engineering director.
In my experience, interviews tend to fall on a Friday, and there's a chance at the end of the day to join their company-wide update to get a glimpse of what it's like to work there. The recruiter who initially reached out followed up with me throughout the process to ensure I knew what to expect and to provide timely updates.
After the final round, there was one more round to meet with Andrew, the CEO, before an offer was confirmed. I completed another coding challenge during that discussion and had the opportunity to ask him many questions to learn more about the company and its culture.
