The interview process began with a short phone call with a recruiter, followed by a 30-minute phone call with a software manager.
Next, I was asked to come onsite for a 1-hour coding test and review. After that, there was a coding challenge to build a full-stack web application, with a preference for using Python and Django.
If this stage went well, the next step was an onsite interview lasting 5-6 hours.
I was ultimately rejected due to some imperfections in the coding challenge. According to the engineer who reviewed my code, I did not demonstrate sufficient proficiency in handling errors and exceptions, despite having try-except blocks in every piece of my code.
The recruiter gave me a short tour during my first onsite. It was evident that the company's employees are predominantly white, as suggested by the posts on the Benefits page. As a person of color, I would advise others in similar situations to avoid this company.
