In general, it was a good experience. The entire process took approximately 1 month. After applying, I had a phone interview with one of the senior engineers.

This call is an interview; they will ask you questions, and you have to be ready. Then, I had a panel presentation with 4 individual interviews right after.

My recommendation is to know your research very well, practice your presentation, and work on how to handle the pressure. I think they like people that can think well on their feet.

Most of the questions were behavioral, like:

• Project that didn’t go well and how to approach differently in the future.
• How can you make our group better?
• Why LAM?
• Biggest challenge during research?
• Something you are most proud of.
• Conflict with others? How did you handle it?
