I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week.
I interviewed at LendingClub (San Francisco, CA) in October 2015.
Interview
Four of the interviewers were very friendly and the questions were relatively straightforward. The four interviews were evaluating what I knew and what I could do.
The fifth interviewer came in with an air of superiority and was downright rude when I couldn't decipher his questions. Vague questions with biting remarks when I tried to respond based on my experience, using technical jargon. It was evident that he did not want me.
Highly unprofessional interviewer. Looking at other reviews on Glassdoor, I am not the first person to encounter this interviewer.
Fortunately, I did not get the job. I would not have wanted to work with him after such bad treatment. I have dissuaded a couple of my friends from interviewing at this place.
