Questions

1st phone screen - Easy

2nd technical phone screen - Easy

Questions:

  • Box model
  • ul and li loop optimization

Answer:

  • Add event listener on ul and optimize it, or use data attributes (HTML5).

3rd coding interview:

Questions:

  • A list of names is displayed using ul and li tags. On hover, a popup appears.

Answer:

  • I could complete this exercise. Used an Ajax call on how info will be displayed.
  • Used CSS absolute positioning for popup placement.
  • Used HTML5 data-attributes (that is what the interviewer wanted).

Questions:

  • Mockup of HTML5 and CSS to display info on clicking the tab.

Answer:

  • I did JavaScript but struggled with CSS.

Remember to do gradient effects and ul and li CSS.

The interview was quite easy. Don't neglect CSS3.
