I see no reason why people would like to join a company in such steep decline. Not even for great compensation. I am sure you will regret it in a few months.
Management is mostly composed of inexperienced engineers that lacked the tech knowledge and, thanks to politics, were moved to management. Since there is no vision in leadership, projects are changed on a weekly basis, and there is nothing of significance achieved. Managers are like headless chickens running around on directors' words.
Quality is a second-class citizen, and this is reflected in on-call. Benefits have been cut significantly in recent history, including free food, which lately is of worst quality. Diversity of teams is poor at best, and this promotes a backstabbing culture formed during the recent year. Upward mobility is non-existent because the company has been shrinking rather than growing.
I think this is a point of no return.
