Diversity is stated, but it isn't true. Management is majorly male, white, or Mexican. There is no 401K match, and no work/life balance. Your work is not appreciated, and HR is there to socialize. California departments think they rule but will not make decisions. Managers have no one reporting to them.
When employees come with grievances and concerns, listen to understand the issue, not to rebut.
Promote women and POC, not just Mexicans.
Departments and upper management need to be diverse, not just the workers.
Long and intense. I was interviewed by multiple chair members who were interested in my technical and interpersonal skills. Questions were asked on my reaction to specific situations and the level of technical ability I possessed.
Recruiter expects to extend an offer within a month. The process involved four separate interviews. It was a long process with many people to convince. I basically had an interview a week with Lucid, and the panel interview was about 2.5 hours long.
The recruiter never got back after multiple emails. The "recruited" round lasted for 15-20 minutes, and I was told I would hear back, but there was no reply. I was given an interview guide, which is what I followed during the recruiter round.
