Pros: I came to Lyft for mentorship, ownership, and to improve my engineering skills. Overall, I think that was achieved, but the quality of the overall environment has been trending downwards the entire time I’ve been here.
Coworkers are great; you work with some truly smart people.
Good work-life balance.
Ownership of your projects.
Cons: Constant thrash in priorities from leadership; cannot stick to a strategy for more than one or two quarters.
Expectations of growth even though there’s not much scope past senior.
Currently seeing a lot of burnout and attrition.

Pros: Everyone is very helpful and talented, so working on any project or team feels like a breeze.
Cons: The Mexican office has dumb operational issues, like transport, food, and payments, etc.
