There are some amazing people that work at Lyft, as well as great benefits.
The QE department is not taken seriously. Automation engineers spend most of their time doing manual testing. Managers all have their own agenda and don't really agree on anything.
The overall process was good. 1st round: Basic testing questions and 1 coding exercise. 2nd round: Virtual interview (4 rounds). * Hiring manager round: It was full of situational questions. * API automation round: Asked me to create the frame
I had the usual phone call and then a coding test after that, but I did not get beyond that stage. Nothing was out of the ordinary; everything was very standard, and there were no surprises. The recruiter was very good compared to other companies as
2-hour OA -> 60-minute technical interview -> 90-minute laptop interview -> 90-minute 2nd laptop (weird). I don't know why I have one more round interview. This takes me a lot of time to finish the whole loop.
