I applied online as a mechanical engineer, and the system automatically placed me in the application for the Engineering Development Group (EDG) - Application Support Engineer. The process began with a programming challenge on HackerRank a week after applying. Two weeks after passing the programming challenge, I had a technical phone interview with one of their Application Support Engineers in EDG. This one-hour interview solely tested my technical skills.
The onsite interview occurred three weeks after the phone call. This half-day interview included a technical interview with Application Support Engineers in EDG, a meeting with the hiring manager, lunch and a tour with another Application Support Engineer, and concluded with a meeting with a technical recruiter.
The technical recruiter promised to provide a decision within one week, but she never followed up or replied. The application system ultimately showed "Match not ideal at this time."
